A HUGE Yellowstone Surprise! Steamboat Geyser Eruption #6

We knew that we would see geothermal events and wildlife in Yellowstone, but we never expected to see this! The Steamboat Geyser has had periods of dormancy that last almost 50 years. Then in 2014 it woke up and went back to sleep. For the past 6 weeks (April and May 2018) it has been erupting on average once a week. We timed it right and visited the World's Largest Geyser for four days in a row hoping to get lucky and see the eruption! Check out the video below to see what happened on May 27, 2018!
